Really it depends on the place and my mood, but the approved sauces in my rota would be: BBQ Sauce, Honey Mustard, and Ranch. If I'm having McNuggets at McDonald's, it is Sweet N' Sour dipping sauce.

 

If I'm at Rafferty's, whose chicken tenders I think are near the top, it is their Honey Mustard 100% of the time.

This is a loaded question. If it’s just basic chicken fingers at a restaurant it’s barbeque. But I honestly can’t remember the last time I had chicken fingers from a place not named Chick Fil A or Canes. At those two places it’s a whole nother ball game. I’d go 1) Polynesian 2) Canes Sauce 3) Chick Fil A Sauce

Honey Mustard is my default answer.

It all depends on the location. Honey mustard is my go-to, but there are some out there that are just nasty. BBQ would be my #2. I love Wendy's sweet & sour for some reason. The only time my chicken tenders see ranch is if I'm having a salad or wrap.

More often than not I go with honey mustard. Exceptions would be Chick-Fil-A sauce at Chick-Fil-A, Zax sauce at Zaxby's, or Canes sauce at Raisin Cane's. I really like the Hot Mustard at McDonald's. I'll use it on McChicken sandwiches or even as a dip for my fries.

I just conducted an experiment with a coworker of mine. We've discussed doing it, but I read this thread earlier and told him we should actually try it. He went to Chic-fil-A and ordered a 4 piece chicken strip combo, and got a Polynesian dipping sauce, a honey mustard, and a Chick-fil-A sauce with it. I went to Cane's and got a 4 piece chicken finger combo with Cane's sauce. We brought them back to our office and each of us had 2 chicken strips from each and tried all of the sauces.

 

Cane's sauce was my favorite, followed by Chic-fil-A sauce, then Chic-fil-A's honey mustard, and then the Polynesian.

 

We also both agreed that Chic-Fil-A had the superior tasting chicken strips - which surprised me. I've always been Cane's all the way. Cane's strips are probably a 25-35% bigger than Chic-fil-A's strips.

 

Cane's crinkle cut fries were significantly superior to the Chic-fil-A waffle fries.

A) Agree, although their grilled chicken wrap (which is obviously not a primary menu item) is really dry. Don't really care for it.

B) I've actually never tried it. Guess I'm gonna have to.

Love CFA sandwiches, but their strips don't measure up to Canes IMO.

Only thing I agreed with was Chick Fil A’s chicken is vastly superior. Give me Polynesian over any other sauce out there and Waffle Fries over those usually soggy crinkle cuts all day. The real winners at Canes are the sauce and the Toast.
