August 14, 20197 yr Author It's my fault. I believed him when he said he was ready. Obviously rushed him. Should've listened to the training staff and given him another start at AAA to see if he was ready. Thought his excitement would carry over to the rest of the team and they'd bounce back from Sunday's loss to the Cubs. Fine. I'll be a team player and go start threads for the rest of the year for the Cubs, Cardinals and Brewers.
August 14, 20197 yr Fine. I'll be a team player and go start threads for the rest of the year for the Cubs, Cardinals and Brewers. :lol2: I already said it was my fault.
August 14, 20197 yr Galvis is hit a line drive going toward the line and Suarez did not even go to the base to tag up. You always go to the base to tag. Base running has costs the Reds many runs this year.
August 14, 20197 yr I honestly believe the season ended with Sunday's loss to the Cubs. I know it's just one game in the standings, that theoretically could be made up elsewhere at another time. But, to me, it was all about momentum and a mindset. They HAD to win that game...and didn't. I will agree with that AND the way they lost it made the loss even more deflating.
August 14, 20197 yr Reds come back to tie it at 1 in the top of the 4th then give up a 10 spot in the bottom of the fifth. It’s now 11-1 Nationals.
August 14, 20197 yr Author @nkypete there is a bus ticket to Chattanooga waiting for you. Nope, I'm up here for the rest of the season. I'm out of minor league options. You're stuck with me. Otherwise, if you all expose me to waivers, I'm gone for good.
August 14, 20197 yr I'm gonna get this off my chest, you guys can hammer me and toss out all the cyber numbers all you want, this is just how I feel. I haven't been a Bell fan since day 1, didn't like the choice when it was made. Don't know why the Redlegs had to sign another shortstop/second baseman, etc., when they had a guy who had a pretty decent 2018 but for some reason Bell doesn't like and a decent rookie Van Meter that can play there (and yes I realize Iglesias had a bicep strain). And my gosh the Sal Romano experiment has got to be over. I know this seems like kicking a dead horse but I've felt this way about the Redlegs most of year. There, I've posted it, I'm done.
August 14, 20197 yr Reds lose again 17-7. This is 4th loss in a row. The Refs are fading fast need to probably win 6 out of the 7 in this home stand 4 against the Cardinals and 3 with the Padres. However I’m not feeling too confident in that being possible right now.
August 15, 20197 yr I've been informed by management that, after the showing in the past four games, that I've been relieved of my duties. I will always be a Reds fan and will continue to root for them in the future. But, it is time for someone else to lead this team to the results this passionate fanbase so richly deserves.
August 16, 20197 yr Nope, I'm up here for the rest of the season. I'm out of minor league options. You're stuck with me. Otherwise, if you all expose me to waivers, I'm gone for good.:laugh: How cute. You think someone would make a waiver claim.:no::lol2:
August 16, 20197 yr Author :laugh: How cute. You think someone would make a waiver claim.:no::lol2: The Phillies wanted Jared, but not me.
