Yeah we'll just have to be physical and ball hawk like we've been doing during our awesome run. We make the most out of causing turnovers, and just creating big plays on D.

 

Couldnt agree anymore. Ryle would score tonight and two plays later have the ball back and on HC's 5 yard line. I was very impressed with how ALL of Ryle's players were getting to the ball every play.

 

Something I really like about the Ryle coaching staff is how involved and in to the game they are at all times. When Ryle recovered the fumble after a kickoff the D-coordinator was jumping on the players and getting more excited than the players themselves. IMO that is one of those little things that separate a championship caliber team and a mediocre team.

I'm not a Ryle fan but I'm glad to see they are representing not only Union but the entire NKY AAAA district. NKY has benefited from the bracket but you can only beat the teams in your bracket, they will be a heavy underdog against "T", hopefully they can reach down deep and give the Rocks all they want.

Something disturbing I heard at the game tonight was a few Boone players saying Ryle didn't deserve to be in the state championship because they dont have the pride or tradition that Boone has and weren't Boone.

 

That is a very unclassy comment considering they are representing your district. Also if anything, they should be excited because being one of the teams who beat Ryle, it goes to show how good they really were. Sorry to bring this up, but I just thought that was unsportsmanlike for some of the Boone faithful and players to be saying.

Their head coach went to Boone right?????????????? This game was Ryle all the way. They were bigger, faster, and stronger than Boone. Next week they will be smaller, slower, and weaker.
