My favorite games to attend are those where there a lot of “road warriors” in the seats (e.g. Steelers at Bengals). Makes the whole experience much more interesting.

 

I personally love when the Cubs come to town. Granted, I sell more beer but I personally think that their fans are fun to be around in the ballpark.

I gotta say, I still won't fill up threads with negativity, but my hopes in the Reds being a contender are on a slippery slope. I knew it was a long shot to begin with, but the fan in me kept it alive.

 

Last night they did all they could to slow a contender, and a team who has been rolling and it really never felt like they were in it. To be standing 8.5 games back and looking up at 4 teams is TOUGH.

I don't think it so much that we are all constantly defending him, as much as we just grow tired of the bashing narrative that at times can get repetitive in these threads. We all know he isn't playing like his past self.

 

In saying that, him getting on base in the 8th inning lead to them tying the game. Him getting on base in the 10th lead to them winning the game.

I know it was just one game in the middle of May, but that win felt a little bit bigger than it was. Come from behind win against the #1 team in the division and your ace, who has been on fire on the mound to close out the series today. Here's to to a W!
