Non Coffee Drinkers

Featured Replies

I just can't drink coffee. I know it's an acquired taste, but I just can't acquire it. Anyone else out there like me?

I am curious how others who don't drink coffee get their caffeinated fix? I don't drink caffeine a ton but some mornings I just need a pick me up. I am known to drink a Mt. Dew Kickstart from time to time, which isn't as bad for you as soda but probably still isn't great with 20 grams of sugar.

I was recently introduced to something else and had my first this morning. It's called Xyience Energy. It has zero calories and 0 grams of sugar. The flavor I'm drinking today is Cherry Lime and it almost tastes like Cherry 7up. I found them at Jungle Jim's. Might have to pick up some more.

I’m not much of a coffee drinker because it doesn’t give me the pick me up effect that it does a lot of people. I get my caffeine fix from soda, I’ll usually have one with my lunch and that keeps me from getting a headache. Coke, Diet Coke or Coke Zero usually.

I love the smell of coffee brewing but that's where it ends for me. I have a coke every morning for my caffeine fix.

I drink coffee sometimes but a lot of times I’ll take a caffeine pill. I recommend PurCaf caffeine pills from Kaged Muscle. They are organic and give you a pretty strong dosage of caffeine in just one pill.

I might have to check these out.

Haven’t had coffee since the 90’s when my grandma let me try to be a big kid once or twice. Hated it, I drink energy drinks though.

Non-coffee drinker here. I do nothing. I believe the "boost" people need is as much mind over matter. And this isn't some kind of bugatti health talk. I have felt this way well before my healthy lifestyle kicked in.

And for the record, I do not think anything is wrong with coffee or caffeine consumption (energy drinks I do), just do not believe that people are required to have a "boost." That is about establishing an addiction to caffeine.

Why don't you go run an Ironman or something....

This is me 100%, and I'm not even healthy lol.

I can drink coffee 2-3 times a year, but not everyday. I actually make my wife coffee every morning and I love the smell of it, but just can't drink it.

I'm a diet mountain dew guy. Got hooked on it in college and have been going strong ever since.

I also love a good glass of tea (sweet, but not too sweet).

The irony of it all is that coffee is basically a requirement for any runner or triathlete. The fact I am sipping on water or Gatorade before a race makes me a pariah.

Running an Ironman makes you a lunatic regardless of what you drink. :lol2:

Any idiot can run. But it take a special kind of idiot to do some of things I have done. :D

I love the smell of coffee and even like the taste a little. But my stomach can't handle it. I end up in the bathroom not long after drinking it. I also don't drink sodas. I haven't had one since 2010.
