UK vs UCLA

UK looked better offensively but not defensively. What are the thoughts on tonights game?

I think UCLA wins by about 10. I don't know who will draw Afflalo, but they're going to have a tough time.

 

Hope I'm wrong and UK can pull of the nice early season upset...

I don't know much about what UCLA has back. Obviously it enough to warrant a preseason top ten. If we can defend the dribble and close out on potential shooters without ushering them to the basket who knows. We all need a big win early and ride the wave.

UCLA looked sharp last night. UK will struggle in this one I think.

I only watched until halftime, but UCLA looked like they deserved their top 10 ranking. UK better bring their best stuff tonight.

This game will give UK an early indication of where we are at and where we need to be so to speak. UCLA looked pretty sharp, I say UCLA by around 15.

This is going to be an exciting game. UCLA is a very good team, but UK is playing really good right now. I think its going to be very close. I feel like UCLA has a slight advantage with the starting 5. Afflalo and Shipp IMO will give us some problems. I think the X-factor for UK is Meeks and Jasper. I look for both those players to get more minutes. If they can come in and play well I think we will beat UCLA.

I think it will be within 5-10 points either way just based on two great programs and two good coaches. It may be a little early for UK to win a game like this, but it will definately give us an indication of where we are. Of course, if UK does lose - it'll spawn another round of "FIRE TUBBY!!!"

This kind of game is just what the Cats need. It will be a big test for the talented Freshman. We will also see what Randolph Morris is made of. Will he be on the bench in the first 4 minutes with foul trouble or will he step up and show he has the heart to play.

I will have to stay a homer and pick the Cats.

I would love to pick the Cats but the reality is UCLA is a far better team right now. 75-61 UCLA. Great test for the Cats.
