November 21, 200619 yr Why did LVille yank his schlolarship? I think RP started a thread on that topic earlier today...
November 21, 200619 yr Man Papaw Brooks is pulling in all kinds of commits today. Guess thats what you get when you beat UL Monroe by 2.
November 21, 200619 yr Mychal Bailey-S/OLB Ht: 6-foot-0 Wt: 190 lbs Forty: 4.43 secs 4.43 opens your eyes a little bit.
November 21, 200619 yr I'm glad to see him go to UK. I expected it. It would be cool, for us Rock fans, if he got to play next year and play LT while Jason Leger plays LG. It would be cool to have both former Rock players on the left side of the line. That would be cool for our school. But I'm curious about that Link having him listed at 6'5 265 lbs. I'm 5'11, 202 lbs and when I stand next to him, he dwarfs me. I have a cousin that is 6'4 265 lbs and he's no where near as big as Brad. ESPN.com had him listed at 285 and Rock had him at 310. I know one thing....It WILL be cool..
November 21, 200619 yr Man Papaw Brooks is pulling in all kinds of commits today. Guess thats what you get when you beat UL Monroe by 2. His stock appears to be ready to climb. According to Bailey, LaGrange coach Steve Pardue informed him today that Nebraska, Arizona State and Troy State had indicated they were ready to offer scholarships. "But Kentucky's the one I've been waiting on," Bailey quickly added. :sssh: Don't be mad because Nebraska is losing recruits to UK.
November 21, 200619 yr Yesterday was a nice recruiting day for the football team! Now Durham is somewhere that coaches wont lie to him and hes at a place where he will be treated with class, unlike UL in this particular situation.
November 21, 200619 yr I know one thing....It WILL be cool.. Hmmmm.....didn't realize I used "cool" so many times.
November 21, 200619 yr Excellent pickup for UK and I am very happy for this young man and his family. :thumb:
November 21, 200619 yr Author The Cats also picked up a commitment yesterday from Spartenburg, South Carolina OLB Antonio Thomas, 6-3, 200, 4.48. Thomas plays Safety at Broome High School but UK recruited him as a OLB. http://blog.kentuckysportsradio.com/?p=1221
November 21, 200619 yr I think RP started a thread on that topic earlier today... Looks like both schools benefit.
