Don’t know the Dixie roster, but 00 for Dixie played a hell of a game.

Beechwood winning this region would be a great story.

That’s Jabari Karim.

That’s Jabari Karim.

I heard the name Jabari by the announcer, but couldn’t make out his last name. Thanks! He played his heart out.

Congratulations to the Tigers. Great turnout by the Beechwood fans.

Very nice venue at NKU.

Beechwood shot lights out tonight. It was an impressive offensive display. I’d love to watch the matchup with Cooper Friday night. 2 very different styles.

Jabari Karim had one heck of a night. He is so strong attacking the basket.

Hope there's the next level for him because he is indeed a dynamite quick as lightening player. He looks like he could have even better playing days ahead as he matures, so I do hope that college teams are looking at him, and that he gets picked up by a suitable team that will enable, and encourage his growth.

Clearly Beechwood is a program on the rise with an impressive young talent pipeline.

Out of curiosity, I wonder how many times they’ve made the region semis in the last 50-60 years? The program is racking up historical wins and all signs point to more of them over the next few years, at least.

Sure they were playing Dixie who are down this year, but the Tigers were playing like a team on a mission as if they have state champs in their sights. The way they were knocking them down last night they were starting to make me a believer.

I totally agree, this is my 4 th time to see the Tigers and each and every time, I am more impressed, they can all shoot. The come back against Covington Catholic in the district was impressive. Should be a dandy Friday. It's almost like they are that cinderalla team in the NCAA that people start rooting for, but the thing is they really are not a cinderalla team, I guess it because they have not been to the regionals in some time. Best of luck.

Beechwood has reached the Regional Final once in 1949, losing to Bellevue. Incidentally, the last team to also win the District Championship.

2019 is the 4th time in the 87 year history of Beechwood boys basketball that the Tigers have reached the Semifinals.

The other two years were 1948 losing to Holmes and 1968 losing to Campbell County.

Last Night broke an 8 game streak of losing in the Quarterfinal round: 1979, 1981, 1983, 1985, 1991, 1992, 2005, and 2009.

@statman getting it done again. Thanks for sharing the info.

Congrats on the award last night!
