PurplePride92
Good question. Davis's ability to drive, operate in the paint, and play above the rim should compliment LeBron much better than a Bosh or Love who were relegated to being spot up shooters. Just saw your post. We are on the same page.

bugatti
If I’m New Orleans, wouldn’t the correct play be to simply sit AD the rest of the season and trade in the offseason?
NEERFAN
If I’m New Orleans, wouldn’t the correct play be to simply sit AD the rest of the season and trade in the offseason? I'd say the correct play is to get the best deal possible.
DanvilleFan
I'd love for Utah to make an offer here but there's just no chance. Big free agents never want to come to Salt Lake.
PurplePride92
Anthony Davis and Rich Paul have told teams that Anthony will not be signing an extension with anyone other than the Los Angeles Lakers and that will be his destination when his contract is up in 2020. ggclfan
Why would any superstar player want to go to play with Lebron NOW. I would understand it more a couple of years ago. However, Lebron is 34 now and he has played basically 100 games a year for over 15 straight years. I think he could age and become injury prone rapidly. Also, it seems like other really good players who join Lebron get none of the credit when they win and a lot of blame when they lose. This will be fun to watch for so many reasons. PurplePride92
I know this has been reported but I have a hard time believing this... I was the same way until Kyrie publicly apologized to LeBron. Everything changed then.
bugatti
I was the same way until Kyrie publicly apologized to LeBron. Everything changed then. That was half about Kyrie being able to justify his antics in showing up his teammates.
bugatti
AD has been fined $50,000 for his public request of being traded. Pocket change to him, but team AD looks at it as an investment to get him out of town ASAP. Again, New Orleans has no reason to deal him now.
