Well I think it’s only fitting to have an ending like this for this team. Nothing about this season was ever easy. But Rose Bowl Champs is always sweet. Go Bucks!

Thank you and I know that he will be leaving but i'm hoping that Haskins chooses to stay. Besides, a QB is important but the Bengals need a lot more than that. Like the Reds, imo the house cleaning with both needs to start at the top ….. entire front office and go down from there.

Andrew Luck, Watson, Baker Mayfield, Mahomes, etc. All have proven that a good qb can make up for other weaknesses in a team right away.

 

While people like Blake Bortles, Kirk Cousins, etc have shown that they could hold a team back even though they have most of the other right pieces around them. Or just look at the Bengals and how its Qb play held them back when they had all the right pieces around them from 2012 to 2015. While there are other weaknesses. At the end of the day, top qb play makes the biggest difference. Which is why I really would love Haskins.

 

But to stay on topic. As someone said its amazing how poorly OSU looked for that month stretch. That should have never happened. To much talent.

There was a time when a Rose Bowl win to OSU and fans would be the win, reward for a championship season. Although I am extremely happy with another Big10 title and Rose Bowl, I can't help but think what could've and imo should've been from this season. Having said that the Buckeyes have no one to blame but themselves in not having a shot at then continued playoff, NC. This has been a season full of set backs starting even before the season and then then continued plus an injury, loss of a player (Bosa) that I thought was not only the best player on the team but the best defensive football player / arguably the best overall football player in the country. All considered …. Yes, a Rose Bowl win is Great.

 

I don't know if he's really thru coaching for good but I appreciate Urban Meyer for what he did for OSU, the Big10 titles and another national championship. All the best wishes to Urban Meyer and I am looking forward to the Coach Ryan Day era !
