Randy Parker Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 Final from the Traditional Bank Holiday Classic.
mcpapa Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 Sounded like a tight one until the final minute.
Randy Parker Posted December 27, 2018 Author Posted December 27, 2018 Sounded like a tight one until the final minute. 31 all and Cooper outscored Bardstown 9-2 to finish.
Hoptown Tigers Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Looked like the big man getting hurt for bardstown turned the game.
4 Quarters Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Cooper has a starter,Walters, out for this game.
Randy Parker Posted December 28, 2018 Author Posted December 28, 2018 Looked like the big man getting hurt for bardstown turned the game. Cooper was up when he got hurt, but him going down didn't help the Tigers. I thought Bardstown took the air out way too early. Cooper's zone was tough, but I just thought Bardstown quit attacking way too soon.
Mr. Sixer Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Defense, Defense, Defense. Congrats to the Jags finding a way to get it done without one of their starters and leading scorers. Cooper will have a shot in just about every game when they keep the scores low. Only 2 teams have scored over 50 twice this year so far so as long as that trend continues they’ll be in every game.
Hoptown Tigers Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Is walters our for the entire tournament?
JackieMoon Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Was this truly a defensive battle and I assume poor shooting? Or was it stall ball?
JackieMoon Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 I hope the Jags bring home a tourney win for 9th to show the state that we are better than others are saying!
Can'tcoach Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Is walters our for the entire tournament? He was wearing a boot. I was told he would be out possibly 2-3 weeks.
Hoptown Tigers Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 It was stall ball. Both teams held the ball out front for 45 seconds to 1 minute on multiple possessions.
