I know the talk about Urban coming back to coach will continue to be talked about for a while. He may very well coach again someday, but as of right now I would venture to say Gene Smith and Ohio State are grooming Urban to be the next athletic director at OSU.

Oh I know why it was posted. I knew as soon as I saw that he was teaching this course that it would be mocked by anyone outside of Buckeye fans. I’ve just come to expect it and largely ignore it by now. I just decided to post my thoughts when I saw the news. I know Urbans name is going to be brought up every time a big coaching job comes open. I know that the national perception of Urban isn’t a factual representation of the kind of man he is. It is what it is and it’s just something he and those who support him will just have to deal with. I do believe that right now, the plan behind the scenes is for Urban to one day take over as AD. Obviously I don’t have any insider knowledge into that, but it’s just a guess.
