Carson Brammer led the Royals with a career high 26 points on 6-7 3-point shooting. Jaylen Lofton had 17 &10. Xylon Frye added 15.

I believe Mason had 20 turnovers and there are still way to many stupid turnovers.

Handling the teams that they should handle; struggling with the others. Everyone knew that Allen and Pendleton would do what they did; many were surprised that Mason did what they did. Perhaps this young squad struggles with being pressured. They're a year away; and who's to say that they can't improve dramatically as this current season progresses?

 

At any rate; this kind of result speaks to the gap between the top four (Campbell, Clark, Pendleton and Scott) squads in the 10th and the rest of the pack.

I have no idea why people would be shocked. Mason County should beat them and did. They are deeper and have played a much tougher schedule. This is not a knock on RC, just the way the enrollment difference makes.

I think based on how Robertson played Pendleton in the district tournament last season, the results of their game was a little surprising.

Robertson is probably a year away, but a lot of that will be because of what the other teams lose to graduation.
