I guarantee Redman and Stewart will not leave the grass as high as Trinity did before they got their new field surface. I remember very well a Male Trinity game at Trinity where the grass was about 5 inches high to slow down the speed of Male. It did not work. If your better Trinity then just go over there and kick their butt. If not, quit making excuses for why you may lose

There will tickets at the game just leave a little early. The human body gets hungary every 4 to 5 hours. So if someone eats a full meal at 4:30 -5 O'clock you will be hungary around 9:30 or 10. Wait for traffic, maybe half of a hour and go eat. Or do as we do bring snacks. Use the restroom when you first get there. Man Y'all ever been to a place with a really large crowd? There was a fan who got upset because there was a food problem last week. Go to Bob Evans across the street. I'm there to watch the game not eat.

Forgive me. Those were some dark days. I still dispute the claim of five inch grass. Five inches of grass would have to be pretty lush, and we all know that wasn't so.

I say yes move the game. Beaumont on field turf far outweighs any home field advantage.

Trinity athletic office is open from 8-3:30. As of this afternoon (Wed) they had under 1,000 tickets left for sale from their original allocation.

Hopefully the field has some time to dry out over at Male due to the rain we have received. I noticed Male practicing over at UofL's field that is next to the outdoor football practice field (think it is a lacrosse field maybe???)

I really think a fast surface is to Males advantage.Football is played in all conditions but I think a muddy field slows Male down and their offense is a sideline to sideline offense. From a technical standpoint I think Male should move the game if they can to field turf. From a home field advantage and ticket sales and parking these are all secondary issues in my opinion.Good luck to both teams, and I hope the field conditions do not drastically contribute to the outcome of the game for 2 fantastic teams.

Anyone got a pic of Male's field? I understand we've had quite a bit of rain and will get some more tonight.

I'll go out on my boat and try to take some. We had a Youth game two years ago at Fern Creek high and the sprinklers came on about 6AM. I just that doesn't happen at Male.
