Both are great football players, wouldn't a coach give anything to have them both in their backfield.

Talk about thunder and lightning!!!

I would love to have them both. Very differant styles. Clark is a pounder that has good speed. Grimm is a lot smaller but can fly. Both are better than Blume IMO.

I have to agree :thumb:

This is a question with no wrong answer. I watched both backs this year and both are tremendous atheletes. Clark is more of a "get outta my way" back and Grimm is "catch me if you can" type. Im sure any coach in the state would give an arm or a leg to have either of these young men in the backfield.

After seeing both players over the past two years, I would give the nod to Clark based on overall size, strength and speed (not to mention he has a Championship ring). After last year's JC game with Ashland, Grimm made a much more lasting impression on me than Blume. Both players excel in different styles and strengths though. There are probably still pucker marks on my bleacher seat at JC from watching Grimm take a hand off against the Tomcats a few weeks ago.

This is Grimm's junior year. Clark's #'s are very good. Like I said before I have never seen him play. That's why I would like to here more from people who have seen them both. Grimm is the best I have seen in highschool. He reminds me alot of Greg Slone, who played for Paintsville in the late 80's. He plays for a much better team though. Which we all know is the key to being a GREAT back.

Greg was a great back; I wish he had stayed at JC for his junior and senior year. He would have made us a playoff team, which we should have been anyways. I do see a lot of similarities of Slone and Grimm. Nice eye Eagle pride.

I've never seen either one play but would love to. Grimm sounds to me like he resembles the style of Nic Blair from North Laurel a year or 2 ago.

Now that you mention it, Grim's running style reminds me of Blair also. I beleive Blair was a little more shifty than Grim, but Shawn has him when it comes to power running and breakaway speed.

Blair was a great back though he gave JC fits when we were still in 4A.

Ive seen Clark play,A great back.Ive heard of Grim.Ill take Grim.

Seen Clark....check!

Heard of Grim...check!

Yet you choose Grim even though you haven't seen him??? Am I missing something??

Read the stats.

Clark He has a ring, the other one don't and won't
Several other running backs on Russell's team have rings, but it really does not make them better running backs than Grim, does it?

No it doesn't, that's like saying Trent Dilfer is better than Peyton Manning because he has a ring.

Not saying Clark is Dilfer and Grim is Manning, but I think you get the point.
