November 3, 20187 yr At least the Cats made a huge step up in competition! That was a really good DII IUP team. 10 times better than Transy. Still a ways to go but once Cal gets into the regular early rotation the Defense will really improve. Go Cats!

November 4, 20187 yr A small school should never score over 50 on a top 10 team. That's like saying a 1A team should never beat a 6A team in football,yet as you seen it happens. Plus it's an exhibition game. UKs defense early every season isnt great but usually just fine come March.
November 5, 20187 yr Two points: 1) Kentucky hasn't even attempted to learn defense at this point. This is nothing unusual. Remember that one time when it took a John Wall buzzer beater to beat Miami (OH)? 2) IUP (allegedly) beat Morehead State by 8 or so points in a secret scrimmage early last week. They aren't a terrible D2 team by any means.
November 5, 20187 yr UK giving up 64 points to a team I never heard of before. Factoid of the day: Indiana, Pennsylvania is affectionately known as "the Christmas tree capital of the world". I know because I had a roommate that I visited back in the day who lived just a few miles from the place. About an hour from Pittsburgh.

Just for reference: Virginia Union University is a private institution that was founded in 1865. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 1,295 and Indiana University of Pennsylvania is a public institution that was founded in 1875. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 10,143 Not that any of the above makes any difference regarding Tuesdays game.
