If Louisville makes the title game, I'm taking out a loan to go see it. Period.

How many BGPers are road-tripping to watch the Cats SHOULD they get invited to play an extra game?

I will for sure...I'm hoping for a trip to Nashville.

And you know I'll be there!!! :ylsuper: :ylsuper: :ylsuper:

So that the argument would be about the teams that didn't get into a 4 or 8 team playoff rather than the 3rd team. It changes nothing. The argument would be about the 5th or 9th team in the rankings instead of the 3rd.

Heck, in basketball, they invite 65 teams and the big talk last year was the Bearcats not getting in.

Yeah there would be arguments but truthfully if they had an 8 or 16 team playoff I think there would be little doubt that all of the teams that had a legit claim to the title would be included. Most years that only entails about 4 to 6 teams anyway. Eight should be enough to cover it and 16 would leave no doubt. If you have to argue whether or not you're the 16th best team then you weren't winning it anyway. Just like UC wasn't going anywhere even if they got in.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for the Music City bowl if they make one. Nashville is only 2 hour drive from Henderson.

If they play in the Music City, Liberty, Peach, or Outback, I am going oh heck I would go to anyone of them except the Poinsettia.

I'd probably be there.

Houston would be a good matchup for Kentucky is all this should come to pass. Not only would it be a bowl game, but also a very winnable bowl game. A win in a bowl could only boost the potential of the program, from the attitude, to recruiting, to financial support.

Maybe I'll let you borrow my phone.... :D

Man...they throw the ball all over the place...I don't know if UK's defense could handle that...

Funny story. One of the teams that edged them out made it to the Final Four...

Obviously, I'd be there. :thumb:

Do you think there are any drum cases that I could be smuggled in?

I'd HAVE to go to that.

True, but theres a big difference between playing in the SEC and C-USA.

After last week's games, my BCS predictions:

National Championship Game:

Michigan vs. Louisville (you don't know how much it kills me to post this)

Rose Bowl:

USC vs. Ohio State

Fiesta Bowl:

Florida vs. Texas

Sugar Bowl:

Notre Dame vs. Auburn

Orange Bowl:

Georgia Tech vs. Boise State
