November 6, 200619 yr This is awesome--a Cards fan's dream come true! Louisville is in the drivers seat to make it to the National Championship game. The rest of their schedule has three teams with winning records, including unbeaten #15 Rutgers, which will help them maintain their position if they can win out. They control their own destiny! I've reserved a ticket to the BCS National Championship Game on Jan 8. Come on, Cards! Let's take it one game at a time starting with the Scarlet Knights!
November 6, 200619 yr #5 in the computers. Behind Florida AND WVU... The computer must not have watched the UL/WV game. Maybe it was watching the UK/Lindesy Wilson scrimmage.
November 6, 200619 yr Congrats to Card fans! That really is awsome and I am very excited for Brohm since he made a big choice to stay home and do what he has done. I also tip my cap to Bush because he did the same! It stinks that he isn't playing right now but I think anybody in the state with a heart is pulling for him too!
November 6, 200619 yr Great news for the Cards! Hope to see them playing in Arizona on Jan. 8! :ylsuper:
November 6, 200619 yr Jan 8th! I miss the days when the Championship game was on the 1st although I do love the many days of great games!
November 6, 200619 yr Very Impressive and U of L is where they need to be... Big East has to be happy with 3 in the top 13 SEC 5 in the top 16 And the Big Ten top 2 (3 in top 15) This poll proves the best football is East of the Mississippi...
November 6, 200619 yr Last year the Cards beat the Knights 56-5.They have seven returning starters on both sides of the ball. I can't see this game being that close, maybe for a half ,the Cards will pull away. The Knights have played ...North Carolina, Illinois, Ohio, Howard, South Florida, Navy, Pitt, UConn. Their last four games will show that they are just an average team. Now on the other hand the Cards are in a once in a lifetime chance and will remain focused. I don't blame you for being nervous.
November 6, 200619 yr More than the third place position, the cushion between Louisville (.8907) and Florida (.8017) is what I'm cheering about, especially if Texas (.7998) keeps winning and serving as a buffer. Right now, Louisville is closer to #2 than Florida is to #3. Note, GT: ESPN is reporting Louisville as THIRD in the PC polls.
November 6, 200619 yr Great news for the Cards! Hope to see them playing in Arizona on Jan. 8! :ylsuper: JAN 8th. That's ridiculous to play this game that late. WOW!!! Congrats to the Cards. Good luck on winning out.
November 6, 200619 yr I'm a Gator Fan, so this hurts to admit. But UL deserves the #3 spot as of now. I thought Florida needed to make a statement this weekend at Vanderbilt and it didn't happen. So if the Cards take care of Rutgers and Pitt, I see them facing OSU in Glendale.
