I know just from watching the state championship game last year, X was able to connect on a number of deep passes. I think if X was able to do that last year with their Auburn style of offense there shouldn't be a reason why they can't connect on a few big plays Friday night. I know the competition is different, but T has given up a lot of points, if X doesn't turn the ball over and if they can maintain a running game they should be able to put some points on the board.

X has to strike while the iron is hot or Godzilla will regain a lot of confidence moving forward.

That will depend on if Sullivan plays and also have two top WR possibly out, so not looking good as far as deep passing.

Haven't seen either team, so really don't know too much. But I am curious about the T predictions of winning by 2 or 3 TDs. I was under the impression that this senior class as both Freshmen and Sophomores beat T's class rather handily. If so, what has changed?

St. X Junior class is one that went undefeated as Frosh and JV. They went undefeated because of good defense not offense. They beat Trinity in OT and held them to 7pts. They also shut out Moeller. The current Sophmore class is weak by X standards and the Freshman are very good.

That was a title game. Teams tend to play a little harder. T beat them 28-0 in the regular season.

Taking X by at least 7 points. No disrespect whatsoever but I have seen this team play twice this year and this is not a traditional T team obviously and I believe, for this year at least, this is their "down" cycle and I see X taking full advantage IMO.

Sure, but how much has scheme changed? T is still giving up a lot of points, so based off their last meeting that’s a way for X to capitalize on T.

I’m thinking should be good attendance with nice weather forecasted.

Just got goosebumps reading the article. Knowing the rivalry for so long I sometimes forgot what it’s perception is to those on the outside, and while it drives me crazy it has become some one sided, it’s still a game that many people think about and talk about in other parts of the state.
