Comical. No coaches fought, no helmets were swung. It's amazing how rumors get spread.

 

This is what I figured. It’s never as bad as “the mill” says it is. This is why myself and a few others were saying “these things happen, get past it.” All sports are played on an emotional level and I think football especially. At this point in the year the same kids have been beating on each other for months, they are not doing so hot this season...emotions bubble over and stuff happens. Run your laps, lick your wounds and take it out on who you play this week.

I didn't hear anything about helmets being swung. I did hear about coaches fighting though and the person I spoke with is close to the program. I guess we'll see if they have a coach no longer on staff?

The real question is “how” are we talking a physical altercations? Big deal. Did some coaches shout at each other? Just another day in a rough office.

Coaches do argue. Kids do fight. Anyone who spends this much time around one another is going to have disagreements. For the people on here spreading rumors that coaches were fighting or that the Ryle coaching staff is having problems, just do not know what they are talking about. As someone who knows multiple Ryle coaches personally, I see them together all of the time.

I heard the coach that got fired was a ex NFL player.

A fight breaks out, it leaks to BGP and then just by chance a kid and coach decide not to come back at the same time? I'm not sure I'm buying that one but I hope this is behind them and they can start to right the ship coming up. I think we'll have to wait until the Cooper game 2 weeks from now. The Raiders better win against the Jags or the TC Mafia will be out in full force IMO.

Still baffled why so many people are interested in a HS football altercation. It was an in-house issue and was handled accordingly.
