September 2, 20188 yr Players aren't allowed to tackle anymore. The new rules make football tough to watch. If you don’t think there was anything wrong with Westry’s play then I think we’re done here.
September 2, 20188 yr I know it is a first game and I only watched about a quarter of it but UK didn't impress me much at all. You and Shania:
September 2, 20188 yr I know it is a first game and I only watched about a quarter of it but UK didn't impress me much at all. QB play was shaky (neither one had played in a D-1 game before) and the play from Westry was ridiculous, but other than that I didn't think they looked too bad.
September 2, 20188 yr QB play was shaky (neither one had played in a D-1 game before) and the play from Westry was ridiculous, but other than that I didn't think they looked too bad. I hope you are right. Cats! Cats! Cats!
September 2, 20188 yr I missed most of the first half, I’m shocked CMU scored 20 points, must have been a fluke. They looked dreadful in the second half. Four turnovers by UK in the first half, including a scoop and score helped CMU. Westry's penalty also led to a TD after UK had stopped them on 3rd down.
September 3, 20188 yr If you don’t think there was anything wrong with Westry’s play then I think we’re done here. I didn't watch the game so I don't know or don't care. I'm talking about college football in general. It's ridiculous.
September 3, 20188 yr I have to point out that the go-ahead drive that righted the ship before halftime included three 3 passes for 48 yards and a TD to former walk-on and LexCath 2014 grad David Bouvier from Gunnar Hoak. It was a very nice drive at the right time.
September 3, 20188 yr You and Shania: That may be the first time Shania appeared in a college football thread.
September 4, 20188 yr Touchdown Terry stinks. He looked WAY out of his league, and that was against a MAC team. If they aren't going to put a guy under center that can capably throw the ball, they need to give Snell and Rose at least 45-50 combined touches a game.
September 4, 20188 yr Different year, same story. No one should be surprised at this point. This is UK football. Period.
September 4, 20188 yr I was very unimpressed and am afraid that a Dan Mullen coached Florida team will expose UK big time.
September 8, 20188 yr Hoak came in and provided a big spark. It was a shame he got only one series in the second half. Today is a new day and here's hoping the Cats play well against the Gators.
