Beechwood 28 Somerset 0

So game won’t count I believe unless Somerset wants to come back up. Doubt that will happen.

Somerset is not coming back up according to the information I am getting. So does this not count at all?

I thought it had to be a half but coach Rash said it was official 28-0 so not sure.

I would hate for Logan to lose his rushing numbers tonight he ran hard. Oh well JV tomorrow at Highlands!!!!! Go Tigers Beat the Birds!!!!!

I was told that Somerset either had to come back and play or they would have to forfeit. So since they are not coming back I believe they forfeited..

28-0 after only a quarter and a couple minutes in to 2nd quarter. Game called at 8:25 left in 2nd quarter. Beechwood scored on every possession, would have been a running clock in 1st half....dominant performance by the Tigers.

That’s probably right. Beechwood looked really good before the weather. Their line opens some holes. Looking forward to Corbin next week.

Beechwood and Corbin should be interesting, I look forward to seeing how this goes.

Which makes sense, however it shows the difficulty in trying to schedule games with teams hours away. I believe that's how Trinity and Moeller played out as well.

You can't really fault a team for not wanting to travel a few hours on a day that's not scheduled. That would be essentially an all day event Saturday that wasn't scheduled.

Congrats to Beechwood though.

Why didn’t they wait it out? Not sure for that all works

Most games in NKY and Cincinnati were suspended/forfeited/etc.

If they have to drive 2,3 or more hours each way. Is it really worth it for a team to go home and come back in the morning?

I guess I meant did the storms last for a long time? Why did they end the games instead of waiting out the storms?
