This is a cross-county rivalry that has been one-sided lately. Many of these boys and parents know one another as they've either been teammates or familiar competitors since Pee Wee days.

Vote in the poll and tell us who you think wins. Then tell us what each team needs to do to be victorious, if you care to.

If Boone ever wants a shot at beating them this is the year.

The Rebels need to trust the newest Coach.

Coach Dave Eckstein was helping with practice tonight for Boone County.

Eckstein is a super coach. That’s great to hear. Good luck to the Raiders and may they take better care of the football this week. Look for a hard-hitting contest.

Boone definitely can't be overlooked in this game. Going into the Conner game the Rebels varsity had only two quarters of scrimmage. Despite the absence of their best lineman, Boone ran the ball impressively against Conner. I won't make a prediction on who wins but it has the ingredients to make a very exciting battle.

Man! You are well-informed! My understanding is he will help with the offense.

He worked with the running backs today!!

Good news travels fast.

Wondering what Ryle will do for offense if England can't go. He's a great RB when he's on the field but hasn't been able to stay healthy for a whole season. Hope the young man can shake the injury bug.

I will have to go with Ryle

They still have some burners in Elijah Cusick and Max Inabnit. They can get the edge. Boone has a stud LB but he will have to play side line to side line on Friday

Boone has a good linebacking crew.

Two teams about on the same level, I just never feel comfortable picking Boone.

Wasn't Eckstein a former HC for Ryle?

If Coach Eckstein is helping with the Raiders offense. 1. That is awesome to hear!!! 2. Get ready for the old Rebels offense and a heavy dose of Goal line slam, even on 4th and 22! lolol!
