I feel that Ashland had a pretty good wakeup call with their performance against Boyd last friday. They will prepare this week for a very good Mason Co. team and I feel that they will win this one in a close game. Plus, being at home doesnt hurt thier chances ethier.

Ashland 31

Mason 20

I thought you said the week before against JC that it was a wake up call....How many weeks are they gonna sleep:sssh:

Playoffs... A tough opponent... Yet, some of you have chosen to focus on lil ol me.

Amazing

It's the least we could do, since you seem to be incapable of focusing on anything but us.

Actually, I never posted anything on this thread except replies to posts directed toward me. It is amusing though.

An original thought for once would be nice.

Dont worry. If you keep typing long enough one will come to you.

Mason County has passed Ashland in the poll on here... that could be a sign of things to come.

Fellows, please focus this debate on the game upcoming this weekend. This should be a competitive game and is worthy of a solid prediction thread. Any more comments directed at other posters will result in this one being closed down.

Thanks for your help in keeping us on task.

Thanks.

Two good teams, season on the line, at a great venue such as Putnam Stadium... man this will be a great game to watch.

Good Post. A question was ask earlier on if this game was to be played Friday or Saturday. I was thinking Friday but which is it?

... Mason has a ton of athletes and should give the Ashland defense fits. Many ppl may get upset with me for this, but I believe that Ashland been in a downslide every since its game with LC ... I could see this game going either way ...

I agree with most of your assessment JC Alumni 76.

Mason does have a good team and Ashland has not been playing inspired football.

But, I think these Tomcats won’t want to end their season (and for most of the 24 seniors, their football career) in a loss at Putnam. They will rise to the occasion and play well enough to win.

Ashland prediction,

It saddens me to write this but from what I’ve been told Ashland will be going to the line that they played against JC, it was a bad move then and its still a bad move, anyone that watched the Boyd Country game knows the problem wasn’t one lineman as matter of fact most of the break downs were on the left side of the line..(But we did win the game)

Ashland real problem is they are not adjusting for a blitzing defense and every team that has made Ashland look bad has blitz and blitz some more... 5 lineman are not going to stop 7 or 8 guys blitzing, you have to throw just into the secondary and you have to adjust your backs to block.. Instead we are just blaming a line that is doing what they are told.

To say nothing of upsetting the chemistry these five guys have built together all season

We have already beaten this team on the road using the players that have got us to this point

If they play the line they used in the JC game, I predict Mason County by 7

I hope I wrong
