In what could be called a clash of the Titans Danville and Corbin clash in a must see contest. Both teams ended their season at Commonwealth last year and both look and expect to do the same this year. Both looked impressive in their first hurdle last week and look to build some momentum.

This year I think Corbin is better.

 

This series has produced some classic games and interesting results.

 

The last two times Corbin won a state title, 1980 & 1982, the Admirals beat them in the regular season.

I think Corbin wins by a couple touchdowns. I'm pulling for the Admirals!

I think Corbin probably gets the win at home but I also haven't seen Corbin play this season, so it's hard to make a prediction. I'll give them the edge in what will likely be the rowdiest environment of the weekend.

Tough call as both are equally ranked in their respective class. Home field advantage is big in a fight like this.

But it's only a little over an hour drive, and I think the Admirals fanbase will travel well. But it won't be enough..

Corbin may win but I'll be pretty surprised if they score more than 40 points on Danville's defense.

Corbin 28-14.

Should be a great matchup. I feel like Corbin is incredibly hungry after making it to the finals last year but falling short.

 

It may take Danville a few games to figure out "who they are" this year. After a slow start the Ads got rolling vs Woodford last week. Maybe that momentum carries over.
