Let’s not forget Moeller...

After next week there is a good chance both Trinity and Saint Xavier will be 0-2.

Only one of our forty-five Pick 10 Contest submissions selected Carmel to take down the Shamrocks.

Cal preps was wrong. Not a team listed could have won last year. They play in the toughest conference in IN and have awesome tradition of winning.

The difference in my opinion was the fumble return for TD by Carmel. Without that mistake, Rocks win by 2 scores.

Carmel defense was outstanding. Trinity defense is great upfront. Still having trouble covering the deep ball. Trinity lack of being able to throw the deep ball as well.

FYI

I didn't go, but listened and just saw the stats. Trinity only gave up 114 yards passing, so really not that bad at all. Was just two big plays.

Jutz 18 of 28 for 126 yards in his first game on the road against Carmel is not a bad start. Learn from it and get ready for week two.

And last year Trinity beat them 31-3.

Clearly this year is different.

As of right now I think Carmel and Warren Central are the best teams Trinity will play this year. If T can get through next weekend they’ll be in good shape the rest of the way.

Trinity plays Moeller week 3, and 7A Naperville Central (Ill) week 5.

Carmel would beat Cov Cath by 20, Danville by 30, deSales by 40 and Floyd Central by 50. I think Rock Nation will be able to keep this tough loss in perspective.

Trinity plays Moeller week 3, and 7A Naperville Central (Ill) week 5.

......and Male in between those two.

All that matters and what is proven is Carmel beat Trinity by 3. Regroup, refocus and get ready for WC.

I know what Trinity’s schedule is like and I think they’re better than every team on it except Carmel and Warren Central. I think they’ll beat Moaller and I lived in a Illinois a few years and I think Trinity should beat Naperville Central. I expect Trinity cleans up their game and finishes 13-2 with a 6A state championship.

And by the way Naperville Central is an 8A school, the largest class in Illinois, not 7A. It should be a good game but it’s in Louisville and I expect T to win.
