Zion Harmon to Marshall County?

Featured Replies

If his parents physically move and can verify a legitimate change of address, a kid can move as often as he wants and he will be ruled eligible. That is why alot of kids and their families rent so the moves can be made a lot smoother.

Can someone remind me again how old this kid is?

He turned 16 in March.

I guess I understand some of the uproar with the kid moving around so much but I think it’s pretty cool for the state of Kentucky to have a kid of this caliber playing in the state.

Guess there would be less problems if he showed up at “your” school.

I’d be scared to death we’d be put on probation, again.

Or stayed at Bowling Green for his entire Hs career.

Zion doesn’t need Hoopfest for attention from colleges.

He's already one of the best players in his class, plays in the Nike EYBL, he doesn't need extra exposure. He needs players that can support him, but they're not at Marshall Co.

I know he doesn’t need the Hoopfest for exposure but I sure can’t think of a better reason as to why Marshall County would be one of the choices over Scott County.

Believe it or not it still speculation as to why he is transferring. Granted we all believe it is for athletic purposes but I don’t know how anyone can prove it when it all comes down to it.

So is the de facto reason always academics?

If that’s what the powers that be need to hear then yes. For sure.

Hearing he is enrolled at Scott County now. This is going to be fun.

Where will it be tomorrow?

That’d be a heartwarming development. Finally those guys get a break.

Kid should enroll at Ballard Memorial. Next year... Fulton City and then Fred Fraize...

He could take 100% of the shots there rather than 75% of the shots at Marshall.

We could really see what he’s made of then.

Putting two high quality D-1 prospects on the same team (Zion and Moreno)and surrounded by a talented supporting cast should put Scott County as a national power next year and favorite to win the state title.
