I was hoping you wouldn't look them up and pick based solely on the stats I listed. I didn't include rushing numbers because NFL QB's that put up good rushing number either don't last long or don't do it on a yearly basis. But I will look them up and see what they look like.

Winston and Kap had very similar yards in 2015 although Winston had 5 more TD's (6 vs 1). In 2016 Kap had a 300+ more yards rushing but only 1 more TD (2 vs 1). But as was mentioned, Kap is 30 so if he was on a team how much rushing production are you going to expect?

Too hard to pick based on stats alone. Scheme can play a large part in stats. I know the ones with double digit interceptions won’t be considered at all. You can line up Rodgers, Brees and Brady anonymously and folks would pick Brees based on stats but in real life no one would think of doing that other than Saints fans.
April 17, 20188 yr Depends. I feel Cam and Kaep are very similar. I’d expect Kaep to average 40-50 yards a game rushing. He's done 40 per game 1 year. For his career he only averages 33.3. Kap is probably a better passer than Cam. Cam's rushing yards are better and his TD's are much better. Cam just is not that accurate and he throws too many int's for the number of TD's he is going to get. Again his rushing TD's make up for a lot of issues. If not for that I think Cam would be struggling to keep his starting job. Also his 2015 year was just so good (other than comp % just being ok). Having a year like that will buy you a lot of slack.
April 17, 20188 yr I don’t have a rooting interest in this fight other than Jameis, but despite his INT issues there is no chance I’d ever take Kaep over him. Jameis is six years younger. He’s played 24 less games and nearly thrown for as many yards as Kaep already. Jameis’s worst passing yardage for a season is better than Colin’s best - and that’s in a year where Jameis played 13 games vs Kaep’s best where he played 16. Kaep isn’t making up nearly enough ground with his legs to close that gap. And I’m disinclined to have a QB that would have to rely on his legs anyway because if they have to do that, it’s just a matter of time until they get blown up. The INTs are a problem no doubt. That’s a definite weakness of Jameis. But I’d take the years and bank on maturity ironing that out. Kaep doesn’t have the time upside at this point. All that said, he should be on a roster. He could probably start although again, I really don’t factor running QBs in the first place, so I certainly wouldn’t want him starting for my team.

Kap is a poor mans version of Cam Newton. Cam is a better passer, thrower, leader, and winner than Kap is. I’m a Cam Newton guy, I think he is just physically blessed in ways Kap isn’t. Cam also has an MVP to his name.
