March 23, 20188 yr Author Hey @nWo, are you thinking just rain in Louisville? So far that is correct. If the storm system track moves further south then Louisville could get in on the freezing rain.

March 24, 20188 yr At 6 pm, there are big beautiful snow flakes falling in Florence Y'All. It prompted me to go for a drive. When I started my drive the road was wet and slushy, parking lots were slushy but as I ended my ride the road is covered with a white top-layer with slush underneath. It's not that slick if you don't drive fast. This is what I expected earlier in the afternoon. I would say we are easily getting our 3-5 inches of snow, though some of it has melted. I am thinking the parking lot at church will melt over night and in the morning as the snow stops and the temperature hovers above freezing. If the temps were falling this would be a recipe for icy roads. I stopped to see if a stranded driver needed help but he was waiting for his father to arrive so I went on. I've got 7-60 lb cylindrical bags of sand in the bed of my pickup truck. That transforms a vehicle that would feel like a sled in the back into a real bulldozer through the snow. I love the snow... even in March.
