Good luck to the Camels. Great year and should of won. Tough break. Really enjoyed watching them play for the first time this year. Very very well coached and kids play their tail off. Not sure what grade Jolly is in but he’s a player. Easily one of the five to ten best I have seen in the games I have seen.

Finally saw the winning shot for Oldham Co. Quick question, was the play designed for a drive and kick out or was the plan to try and tie? Great play/pass by the ball handler. CC collapsed on the drive and the player for Oldham just snuck down the baseline to the wing.

 

Listened to the whole game (great play by play job) and my father in law took my nine year old son. He was second row behind the shooter. He already loves basketball and now he can’t stop talking about how he wants to do make a shot like that in high school.

 

Sweet 16 is the best tourney in the country. Even when you’re just in high school there are little kids who still idolize young men.

I haven't spoken with Coy Zerhusen - hope to do so tonight - but my understanding was that the first option was for Gibson to penetrate and create, something he's done so well all year. He was attacking toward the left elbow. Larimore, who had hit 10 of 11 shots in the game, was rolling around towards the right side of the lane, and was an option, and Travis Henderson, popping out to the left corner, was an option. Henderson made a great move, and Gibson found him with a bullet pass.

I’ve been listening on the states feed. I’m 35, still old school in that I love listening to games on the radio.

Campbell needed to put a chaser on #22. He shot it great the whole game. Camels let the only player beat them that they could not let beat them. Make someone else beat you. Asking Lawrence to cover that corner shot is asking lot of the big guy.

The Clos kid can flat out play. He didn’t score much in the game against Oldham like he did in the UHA game but he did everything else a great player does, facilitated, took charges, rebounded and played outstanding defense, the small things that don’t show up in the stat book. I have really enjoyed watching him play this year and more importantly you can tell by the way he is on the court with always helping other players up off the floor that he is a fantastic kid as well. Plays with a lot of heart.

Saw a post on social media that Covington Catholic was afraid to play Campbell. Covington Catholic beat the team by a running clock - 38 points - to a team that beat Campbell not so sure the Colonels were scared to play the Camels.
