The kicker on Middletown High School's football team has a lot of people talking, especially after being named homecoming queen.

This athlete is the place kicker for Middletown's formerly all male football team. McCullough has been suiting-up and playing just like any of the guys, but one can't help but wonder if she's afraid of getting tackled.

"I was more afraid of putting the ball through the uprights," said McCullough. "Doing what I needed to do!"

Coach Ron Johnson says she's 29 of 32 attempts...doing pretty well.

I bet a lot of the high school coaches in your area would like to have a kicker that is 29-32 on pat's!!! If she can kick & works hard in the classroom she deserves just as much a chance to play as anyone.

You go hit 29 of 32.

From one female to another...Way to go girl!
