Anderson made a great push to pull within 6. A seven point possession after a foul, tech and a thrree pointer. Vickers then made two big shots to put it on ice. SK had a nice balanced attack tonight.

The SK answer to the Anderson 7-0 run was so clutch. Anderson showed great fight but SK showed even better resilience. Vickers was huge tonight.

Awesome job Pioneers!

Nice win for the Lady Pioneers, congrats on earning a sweet 16 bid. Cannot help to feel that the tough schedule factored into their ability to handle the pressure of a tough game.

They play next on Thursday at 8pm.

Ally did a great job on the boards, a few picture perfect box outs down low. The spin hoop and foul was a thing of beauty. Anderson has a nice group returning, a few Frosh played big tonight for the Bearcats.

What a great atmosphere for the girls. The placed was packed and loud for both teams!

 

Lady pioneers showed some moxi by playing thru two huge runs by Anderson. With exception of the first 3 or 4 minutes to start the game, and a a late run by Anderson, SK controlled the entire game. Anderson’s late run cut it to 6 but in the blink of an eye SK was back up by 15 and the hung on for the win.

 

I haven’t watched this group as much this year but they proved they can play thru adversity. Very impressed with how they kept their composure throughout

 

Best of luck at state and I know you can run really deep this year!!

After SK won I was thinking could you imagine if Bailey Harney didn't transfer? This team is playing it's best at the right moment.
