My only comments about Johnson Central this year are that they are clearly a good team, one of the top seven in 3A, and that it was hard to tell just how good they are because of the schedule. BTW, if I had a chip on my shoulder, I would criticize ad nauseum the schedule of some randomly chosen western Kentucky team to whom I have no personal affiliation.:fire:

I've done it myself from time to time, although it's hard to find one of those in western Kentucky that's ranked as high as Johnson Central is.

Besides, I enjoy watching eastern Kentucky teams like this year's Johnson Central team and the Chris Jennings vintage Fairview team prove critics like you wrong more than I want to see them ranked where they belong.:lol:

Again, I don't see what Fairview did to "prove" me wrong ... they got hammered in the playoffs. Your assessment earlier this year that they proved themselves as a top-five or top-six team is a good bit of revisionist history.

Westsider, do you remember in the predictions thread when you brung up everyones predictions of last years game and tied it into this years game. What was the purpose of that? Was it to belittle eveyone with a wrong prediction and to show that you(who had the right prediction) are superior in your knowledge of the game. Do you realize that you may rub some ppl the wrong way by doing so.

If it did, fine. I did it to show that some people let their personal feelings get in the way of their objectivity at times.

 

Last year they were off. This year they were right. Congratulations to them.

 

As for rubbing people the wrong way ... I am very clear in my opinions. If people take offense to them sometimes, that's just the way it goes.
