Girls Basketball... I love them burgers.

I have an idea who was doing this... BUT every big play JC made a very loud, unique sounding cheer would come from the grill. I have heard that cheer before, but I couldnt put my finger on who was doing it. :D

I feel JC is the cream of the crop in this district, but I thought Ashland would lay down in the second half. With a few exeptions, they did not. Beware of becoming too cocky Eagles you will see a team out for your head next week, and a different Ashland team if we meet again. Remember UNFINISHED BUSINESS.

Some of you Ashland fans should have offered them boys in the front row a shirt. I got cold when i saw them.

I just wish someone would teach them how to wear their pants.

Ashland has a HUGE offensive line. But I thought JC's D line did a great job tonight. Cody Lowe, Mason Meek, Josh Gordouze, Dennis Dillion, Nathaniel Dials, Cody Conley... all those guys played with a purpose.

Cody Conley was the defensive player of the game. He was all over the place tonight. Micheal Tackett had some hits that left Ashland breathless... seriously.

That is the best game i have seen Coty play in awhile. He is haveing problems with his right foot and i didnt know how good he would do but he look great out there.

How is Josh?

I would like to congratulate JC on a great game. I knew they were good, but WOW!! Hopefully there's a rematch in the near future ;). On another note, the JC players are a very classy bunch. I noticed several of their players helping up ours throughout the game, which is something you dont see very often. So congrats JC, and Ashland let's pick ourselves up and have a great game this week as for the weeks to follow.

This was the first game all season that JC had their starters in the entire time. Here is a stat I found impressive. JC has scored 406 points in nine games. JC has allowed 79 points in nine games. That is a 327 point spread.

I would like to say congrads to JC on a well played game this team is for real

and the played like it tonight. They deserved the win and you can’t take anything away from them

That said I have to say I was completely dumb founded that the Ashland coaches would try to fix an OL line that wasn’t broke.. The whole first half they played a line missing a 300 lb linemen replacing him with a player that hasn’t started but one game all year..

The OL line timing was off and they couldn’t execute the whole first half .. I heard it all my life don’t fix something that isn’t broken and it bit Ashland bad tonight.

In the second half they went back to the line that had got them to this point and you could see the difference right away, Ashland marched it down the field and scored but it was too little to late.. Over 20 points down in the third quarter all Ashland could do was throw the football.. The line gave him plenty of time but Mahan was less than accurate and it just couldn’t be saved..

I say 100 up downs for the coaching staff 

How is Josh?

I dont know the condition of Josh, it looked like he had a leg injury by the way he was helped off the field. Gordo is tough, and like the song was playing when he was helped off the field... "I'm alright, dont nobody worry about me."

I do have one question about the JC baseball field. I read in a thread earlier in the week that they were going to completely redo the baseball stadium? My question is WHY? It looked to me like they had a beautiful facility already.
