2018 Boy's Sweet 16® Draw

Looks like a clear path to the title game for Covington Catholic or Cooper.

Be careful! Fern Creek has already beaten both Trinity and CCH, both of whom beat Cooper.

I dont like how the teams that play Wed get a night off before playing Friday!

And how would you fix that?

This draw is awesome. Never change, KHSAA. NEVER CHANGE!!!!!

So you'd be ok with the NCAA Tournament going to a blind draw?

I asked this question over a month ago and never got a definitive answer. And the KHSAA website has two different dates.

Does the tournament end on Saturday with the semis and championship game played that day, or will it end on Sunday?

Whoever wins the 7-11 matchup has clear sailing into the championship game.

And how would you fix that?

Oh, let me count the ways:

1) 8 games Thurs at Rupp starting at 8 am ...

2) 1st two rounds one weekend and the semis and finals the next weekend

3) all 1st round games Thurs at Rupp and Memorial

4) first round tues and wed, final 3 rounds rounds fri-sat-sun

I’m curious what Scott would’ve been ranked last season? Easily could’ve beaten Bowing Green in the semi finals last season which was the best game of the tournament. High school basketball just matters whose hot at the right time.

Amen. Some of the best games I have seen over the years, where not the top ranked teams. Why I attend every session.

SEC, you're one of my favorite posters, but I don't like any of those better than the current plan. Sorry man.

Sunday

Are they going to make it to where only the conference tournament champion is allowed in to the NCAA tournament and no more at large bids allowed?

False.

I wouldn't trust those clowns at the KHSAA to seed anything the ones that would get the best seed is the schools that will grease That big fat hog that runs the show at the Khsaa. Boo Hoo for the big schools. In the big picture if you ain't first your last all that matters is winning a title the best team wins if the top 2 teams play in the first round the best team wins. Runner up is the first looser. Lol!!

I don’t see how that’s even a comparison. I agree with PP never change the draw.
