Ah. We only have 1 DVR and 1 additional TV.

I'm seeing less and less loyalty to a particular church. If they go to church at all, it is usually to one that fits their schedule on a particular day. Throw in a couple bucks and leave instead of making weekly or monthly commitments to one place.

I'm struggling to see what's wrong with that? Shouldn't what matters be that they show up and take the time to fit it in their schedules at all?

Not necessarily a statement of right or wrong, merely what is an observed difference in this generation. Churches (through tithes) historically have counted on anticipated collections in order to get through their financial responsibilities. It has become a struggle all over, across many denominations. Non-denominational churches seem to thrive because of that reason (they cater to the "traveling" church goer).

I thought about doing the same, but I've found it's not that much cheaper...

 

We currently pay $120 for cable/internet. If I were to go with the higher SlingTv package, plus internet, it'd only be saving me $10-20 a month. Not worth it IMO.

 

I am paying about $200 a month right now for DirecTV and Spectrum internet. I think we are going to move something called DirecTV Now, which since my wife has ATT, it would cost us $25 a month.

 

Then we'd have the internet cost, plus whatever services we want. Never had Hulu or Netflix or anything like that.

 

Either that or may look more into the Playstation Vue on my PS4.

Try some Kroger napkins and let me know what you think. They are way better than the coarse Chipotle type napkins. In my opinion they are softer, stronger, and thinner.

Like I said I don't really have a use for napkins other than to keep in my car.

I have never bought napkins. It’s paper towels only for me. I do try and stockpile napkins from places like Chipotle to keep in my car to blow my nose or clean small messes but that’s it. To me napkins are basically useless and have zero reason to buy them.

I have had Vue for over a year now and I like it a lot more that I ever did with Sling. Sometimes with Sling I had buffering issues and I have never had those with Vue. I really like the DVR feature. This feature isn't exactly like the DVRs for cable/satellite but it does the job for me and my family. I would definitely recommend getting rid of traditional cable/satellite. I save over $100 a month compared to what I use to spend... I have it on 3 TVs just for a point of reference for you guys

That's super cheap.

That's what Spectrum's basic package runs. When I say basic I mean no premium channels like HBO or Showtime. I pay about $40 more but have a Showtime and 4 HD boxes they charge you for.
