January 30, 20188 yr I'm seeing less and less loyalty to a particular church. If they go to church at all, it is usually to one that fits their schedule on a particular day. Throw in a couple bucks and leave instead of making weekly or monthly commitments to one place. This is what the sermon was about Sunday at our church, lack of those in the church from school age to 45.
January 30, 20188 yr I'm struggling to see what's wrong with that? Shouldn't what matters be that they show up and take the time to fit it in their schedules at all? Not to take it to religious levels but just showing up isn't necessarily doing God's work, but its all in how the individual believes so..
January 30, 20188 yr I pay $120 for internet, two TV's, one with DVR. I am at $138 for internet, 3 TV's one with DVR. I thought about cutting the cord but a few of my friends have sling and they only save about $10. Just doesn't seem worth it to me.
January 30, 20188 yr Author Looks like the millennials have killed this thread too talking about cheap TV service. LOL

January 30, 20188 yr The overkill hours in a work week. I haven't seen that but a lot of my peers experience normal 40 hr weeks.

Those churches also have to throw in free Wi-Fi, coffee and donuts (all during the service) to get them in the door. It's not really church to them, it's more like a trip to the movie theater. Sad.

It's not for me, but I'm certainly not going to criticize or begrudge another for how they choose to worship or practice their faith.

That's the rational millennial way to think about something or someone. These old timers are stuck in there ways and it's there way or you're screwing it up!

I still take issue with people who wear jeans to church for Sunday service, just how I was raised, you dont wear jeans in church. People seem to be flocking to those "Entertaining Churches."
