Covington Catholic continued to dominate the 9th Region with an impressive win over Holmes in Covington on Friday night.

 

The Colonels jumped out to a 24 to 12 lead by the end of the first quarter and continued to build from there.

 

Cov Cath had three players in double figures, C.J. Frederick with 26, Aiden Ruthsatz with 14, and Nick Thelen with 10 as the Colonels routed the Bulldogs, 80 to 42.

 

Donavin Saxon led Holmes with 10 points.

Holmes has fallen a long way of late. Good kids I'm sure, but where is the talent?

Coach L is retiring from coaching after this season.

Coach L has been a dedicated coach for a long, long time. He cares about kids and is a terrific person. Won a few ball games along the way, too.
