Hopefully they learned from mistakes last time. They need to stay in their lane and NOT go head to head with the NFL like they kept saying they were going to do last time.

January 25, 20188 yr PWInsider is reporting that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's defunct football league, the XFL, will be making its comeback in 2020, under a new name, the 'UFL' or 'United Football League', and also under Vince's new company, Alpha Entertainment... IMO that may be why that is when he wants it to start. With the players not happy with Roger, and them also seeing NBA guys making bank with guaranteed contracts. I am sure he is hoping he could get some of the players to join his league instead. Which he may be able to, if the players don't like how negotiations are going, and also if he is willing to make contracts guaranteed? If he can do this right, it could be a little interesting. Honestly the timing of it is also perfect for the players. IMO it gives them a little bit more leverage in negotiations for the next CBA in the NFL. Before it's not like they could do much, because there really wasn't any other football leagues. Now they could even just threaten to join the new XFL if the XFL is willing to pay some money to get some guys to start things up.
