katbird
Beechwood gave CovCath all they could handle in one semifinal. The Tigers were up by 1pt with 40 seconds left and couldn’t pull out the win. These 2 classes will be battling each other for the next few years. Congrats to the Colonels.. Pete Mitchell
Beechwood has a pretty significant frosh playing up (Draud) and St. Henry has at least a couple (Vieth and Bessler). 2021 9th region class is gonna be a little more balanced, and better, than it has been recently. Samcro
I heard second hand that Highlands came back late and won by 6 or so. If I understand correctly, it was about a 12 point turnaround in the final few minutes.

Beechwood was also missing arguably their 2nd best frosh behind Scotty in Will Rolf. Rolf broke his wrist about 3 weeks ago. He had 35 earlier in the year against Highlands. The kid can score.. Runcible Owl
Back to this year's tournament, is it correct that it is CovCath v. Highlands in the finals Monday night? I assume covered by CovCath Internet radio? This is correct per Cov Cath's website. Scheduled for 7:30 tonight, following the JV Regional final. I don't believe the Colonel Athletic Network crew is covering this game. If they are, this would be the audio link - Colonel Athletic Network is on Mixlr. Mixlr is a simple way to sha... PM what can you tell us about the Highlands frosh; players to watch and record entering this game? Cov Cath enters the game with a 22-2 record, with a 61-39 win over the Bluebirds in their previous meeting on 1/29. For the Colonels, keep an eye on 6'5" F/C Joseph Eubank (#23), he could become something special. Reece Murphy, Blake Diebold, Jacob Deere, Ryan Schneider, Tyler Hutson and DJ Skinner are all capable of putting up double digit points too.
