Alabama wins. They have Nick Saban and Georgia doesn't.

It sounds funny being a NC game but I'm not sure the Alabama defense will once again be able to generate the motivation they had last night. Last night was personal. Any kind of fall off from that level and GA wins. On the other hand, Saban is undefeated against his former assistants and no game has been in doubt.

How could you pick against Bama?

I know ticket prices for a game between Georgia and Alabama in Atlanta will be absolutely insane.

 

As of this morning, they are going for $2500 per seat

How much of last night was Clemson just not being as good as we thought and how much was it Bamas dominance? I think Bama should be favored in the game because it’s the safe bet, but I’m not sure Georgia isn’t a better team. The difference just like it was last night for Clemson will be the QB. If Fromm can hit some passes early Georgia will be in good shape, if not even as good as Chubb and Michel are I don’t think they are good enough to overcome that. I’ll take Bama 28 UGA 21 but I don’t feel good about it.

I am so happy that both teams are in the NC, but I think I have to give Bama the edge based upon experience in these NC games.

I saw where Las Vegas opened with Bama as 4 point favorites.

I put on here last year that GA was very close to being “one of those SEC dogs.” If they win this one they could win 3 of the next 5.

Kirby has instilled a different type of backbone and mindset into the program Richt couldn't deliver. Had Richt been coaching that team lays down yesterday. Seems as if UGA is annually littered with NFL talent, so it is not much shock to see them in this position with the right coach at the helm.

I really don't care which one wins. Love me some SEC!!!!

I understand their argument, but we both understand the toll that playing a power 5 schedule takes on you. They can compete with the top teams for sure, I think they’ve proven that. But they wouldn’t be where they are today had they been playing teams like Auburn more than once a year.

 

Not sure Alabama played a Power 5 schedule either!

 

Prior to last night's bowl game, The Tide only played two teams that finished in the top 20 this year - LSU and Auburn - and they lost one of them.

 

UGA played 3 top 20 teams (splitting with Auburn and beating ND).

 

Should be a great game and either team can win ...

 

The great thing is that the SEC wins either way!!!

Hoping for Georgia to win but I believe Alabama will. Fromm will have to play well for Georgia to win.

This is what being an Alabama fan is like. We beat Clemson now the narrative is Clemson really wasn't that good. If and that's a huge if, we beat Georgia we'll have to listen all offseason about how UCF beat the team that we didn't and they deserve a piece of the national championship. It's never ending.
