Mississippi State 31 Louisville 27

Lamar has a lot to grow in the pocket still. Usually I would suggest he comes back, but there isn't anything else he can do at Louisville to improve in that aspect.

The first sack of the last drive on Jackson was a killer, he had to get rid of the ball, not that the second sack was any better.

Lamar struggled mightily through the air today and has lots to improve on with passing. His athleticism is still far beyond everyone else in college football, but as an NFL quarterback, his passing game needs to improve.

I agree that there’s not much else he can do remaining here for another year. It will be interesting to see what he decides. I can’t imagine that he’s not entering the draft with all of the uncertainty of what could take place next season.

I feel bad for Louisville fans. I think the thought was that they had a shot at Rupp yesterday and would roll today. Tough to suffer two losses like that.

I thought that they had a shot yesterday due to how much uncertainty there was with both teams. After the game, Kentucky looked the best they have so far this season and Louisville looked rougher than they have for a long time.

I thought that their chances of winning the bowl game today was definitely better than yesterday’s basketball game, but I was also keeping in mind that it depended on which team showed up.

I just thought Mississippi State might be a mess all things considered. Kudos to their coaches for righting the ship during the last few weeks.

Yeahhhh right – lol. Honestly I wasn’t part of that school of thought at all, and it’s not that rough – not sure why, but it is what it is.

However, for the first time, I’m kinda glad I don’t have to watch another Cards football game til late 2018...

Go Cards!

SEC!!! SEC!!!

Had to win one sooner or later.:lol2:

Petrino got absolutely beaten down by an interim defensive coordinator today. Never had an answer for the blitz packages they were running.

His refusal to use Dae Williams today was just irritating. Put this all on Jackson and begged him not to make mistakes. Didn’t happen.

I thought UL got some breaks on the calls today. Breaking news: UL needs to improve their O and D lines. The older I get, the more I realize how important line play is.

Had to win one sooner or later.:lol2:

This is the one I enjoy the most.

Roll Tide! Go Bulldogs!
