Ohio State 24 USC 7

Beat NW please before you talk smack to Ohio State. You all would be ahead of Illinois in the B1G.

Ha I love how you forget Notre Dame is my favorite football team. Save that for Monday if Lsu beats ND.

Btw before you start your whole multiple favorite teams post you do to someone else. It's been quite clear who my favorite teams are on here. Been a Uk bball fan my whole life and ND football. I also graduated from UK. So yes I do cheer for the uk football team too. But also very realistic in what they are. But hey more power to you if that's the best you got. However when you osu fans say this shows we would have beat any of those playoff teams. And easily score 20 plus on any of the playoff teams. You are going to get responses for ridiculous bias statements.

When Alabama and Georgia both lose tomorrow night you'll rethink this theory...

Quite honestly I expect them both to lose. Oklahoma and Clemson are the 2 best. Bama and Georgia are the 3rd and 4th best and still are even if they lose.

They would score 40 on OU if they played again and would score 20+ on every other playoff team. Guaranteed. JT or no JT.

Hahaha you osu fans are still funny. You might have a better argument if your offense at least looked good against usc. But shoot you barely scored more than 20 against them and JT could barely pass for more than 100 yards against a defense not even that good.

Get your jabs in while you can we just embarrass USC without the Dwayne train.

Been there done that to USC already this year with Notre Dame and Notre Dame beat USC worst in every phase than osu did. Basically osu did what another team already did to USC but osu didn't do it as well.

USC was overrated....been saying it all year. The PAC 12 had no top dogs this year. The Buckeyes did what they were supposed to do....they curb-stomped them like I knew they would. To sale viewership of the semifinals, the networks have to tick off the casual Ohio State and Big 10 fan (by throwing the word dominated around) so they can tune in to the Bama-Clemson game to see if Bama is blown out.....justifying their cry that OSU should have been #4 the entire time.

Fact is OSU won 12 games and once again they were one of the better teams in the nation.

By OSU standards the season was good not great.

Sounds about right. Really good but not on an elite level.

I didn’t come out of this game any more impressed or disappointed in either team. Few miscues at the start made it compelling - which you often see in these games where teams are off for a month - but after that it was mainly a snooze fest.

So then there are how many elite teams this season?

I am in your line of thinking is zero because everyone has lost a game?

Bama-Can't be. They could not even win a weak SEC.

Georgia-loss to Auburn, who dropped 3 games.

Clemson-loss to a horrible Syracuse team

Oklahoma- Dropped a game to a five loss team.

The CFP isn't designed to pick the elite teams....it's designed to select the 4 best (subjective) teams. This year was all about OSU's loss to Iowa....not the loss but the margin. If they lose by 10, I think they would have made the top 4

I was not talking about the playoffs.

I was asking about whom the poster considered the elite teams and I was showing, why I thought the 4 teams ranked ahead of the Buckeyes, should not be considered elite.

I just love how the National story is the B1G’s bowl season dominance.

i think elite is realitive to the class. Would these teams be elite compared to teams from other years? Probably not, but considering this years crop of teams they are the elite.

"It just means more."

Agreed
