I watched it on the internet, plain and simple, a good thumping.

Except Fern Creek lost to a very average (at best) team from Tennessee, The Webb School. Just when it seemed pretty clear after the KOB that happens. Scott County played a very good team and it is so tough to predict who is best at this time of the year. Covington Catholic beats Moeller, but Fern Creek beats Covington Catholic. Yet there are probably 30+ teams that would beat the team Fern Creek lost to.

That is what makes the Regional tournaments and the Sweet 16 so fun, we get to find out who is the undisputed champ.

Nothing like traveling to MB and playing a school an hour and half away from home.

You're correct about the regionals and sweet 16, but even then you sometime wonder if really the best team won. I guess that's just the way the ball bounces.

They looked out of sorts. Doesn’t help they shot only 29% either. Not saying Scott County is better than Moeller, but they are way better than that performance. That was painful to watch. Come back to Kentucky healthy.

Yeesh. Didn’t see that coming. I think Moeller is a better team than Scott County, just as I think CCH is, but 19 points sounds like a whoopin’. We know how good Hayes is/can be, but Davenport is really nice, as well.

Funny things always happen at tournaments between Christmas and New Years. If a good team is going to drop a head scratcher, this would be the time. They’re all still kids. Schedules get out of whack. Eating fast food for every meal, and running around hotel hallways all night.

MO just too good for Scott
