I occasional watch a quarter or two of NFL but I mostly just check the updates on the scores. There’s about 15 of us at our clubhouse that pick who we think will win in all the week’s games. $10 to get in and winner takes all. I’ve won it twice.

 

I’m actually much bigger fan of the college game as far as TV viewing.

Godot, if this ends up being your final decision, I respect it 100%. I just want to thank you for bringing me into the league. It has been and continues to be a lot of fun.

I still play FF but just watch very little NFL as my “protest”. I think Michael Bennett is full of crap was exposed as a liar. I think Kap and his girlfriend have made their bed and can now sleep in it.

I’ve cut back too...only in a couple leagues, plus DFS. But I probably watch more since getting Sunday Ticket. I would often not watch on Sundays before....now that I can watch any game I want, or even better the Red Zone Channel, my Sunday’s are all day football events.

I think I'll go through a small bout of depression of @Godot gives up fantasy football, but I won't be mad at you one bit.

 

I don't think I could ever give it up. Fantasy Football provides too much of a connection for me and 11 other fraternity brothers to ever give it up for me. It's one of those only ways that probably 75% of the league talks to each other, for the most part.

I've watched much less football this year. I watch maybe a half of each Sunday night game, and maybe a few minutes here or there of the day games. Before this year, I would park myself on the couch from 1-8 each Sunday.

 

I do follow the Patriots each week still, but mostly from afar.

 

I still play FF but it's definitely not been nearly as time-consuming this year, and my performance has reflected that. :lol2:

I hope you don't quit Godot, I love being in leagues with you although you kick my butt every time we play each other.

I’ve been disappointed with the NFL and how they have blackballed Colin Kaepernick along with how players and owners from Drew Brees to Aaron Rodgers to Tom Brady to Jerry Jones have misrepresented the entire cause that taking a knee was all about. I’m disgusted with how a stance of social justice is now treated worse than domestic violence, drunk driving, rape and murder in the NFL. I spoke with my dad last week and he was talking about how he joined the thousands of Blacks across the country who boycotted the NFL and he asked why I wasn’t boycotting the NFL because he knows where I stand on these issues. I told him that if I boycotted every organization that committed overt racism then I’d end up staying at home in my room all day with the curtains closed. He laughed and he said that my thoughts made a lot of sense.

 

Moral to the story is, people are going to do what they feel they have to do. So let us know your choice because your choice affects us all and if you aren’t going to be the commissioner then we need to see if someone else is willing to do it and we need to move on.
