December 1, 20178 yr Let the games play out and we will all revisit this Sunday morning. JT just had arthroscopic surgery 5 days ago. OSU still has to beat a much, much, better version of Iowa on Saturday night to even be in the discussion.
December 1, 20178 yr Let the games play out and we will all revisit this Sunday morning. JT just had arthroscopic surgery 5 days ago. OSU still has to beat a much, much, better version of Iowa on Saturday night to even be in the discussion. I think osu wins by 2 scores or more.
December 1, 20178 yr I think osu wins by 2 scores or more. They have to win by at least 14, I think 21 to be considered. We don’t even know who will be the QB.
December 1, 20178 yr Wait isn't the season suppose to be like a playoff? That's what everyone says. So week 2 shouldn't matter. Plus in a season where home teams have dominated and it's been a struggle playing on the road and seen a lot of good teams get beat pretty handily while on the road. Oklahoma going into osu and flat out dominating osu is very impressive no matter when it happened. So if the commuter truly wants to put who is deserving based on the regular season. Then yes Oklahoma should be in before osu no matter what. Or else #theohiostatecommitee So the last week of the season doesn't matter?
December 1, 20178 yr On the contrary. The committee wants all the drama they can get to drive up ratings and putting Bama in would do just that. You are being facetious, right? I think the country has Bama fatigue. If they want to drive up ratings I don't think Bama does that.
December 1, 20178 yr Report of there stating JT has been ruled out. Freshman Dwayne Haskins will play his first ever complete game.
December 1, 20178 yr So the last week of the season doesn't matter? It does matter. So if you look at the whole season. Then week 2 also matters. Both teams would have 2 losses, with Oklahoma second loss coming in the conference championship. Both teams would have losses against teams they shouldn't have lost to. Oklahoma didn't get blown out in that lost though. Both teams would have some good wins on their resume. The difference being Oklahoma went into osu and flat out dominated them on the road. So yes that would be the trump card if you look at the whole season in comparing 2 two loss teams. You osu fans and your obsession with the end of the season this year and talking about its importance is funny. When Penn State was one of the hottest teams in the country to end last season, beat osu, won the big 10. Yet osu got rewarded and put in over them last year for a win in week 2 over Oklahma as the reason osu deserved to be in over a conference champ who beat osu. Now you act like since Oklahoma beat osu in week 2 it doesn't matter as much this year. Basically you osu fans seem to pick and choose what you all want each year that favors osu lol.
December 1, 20178 yr Report of there stating JT has been ruled out. Freshman Dwayne Haskins will play his first ever complete game. Then I think even more that osu wins. Probably by 21 or more now.
December 1, 20178 yr Then I think even more that osu wins. Probably by 21 or more now. You think Haskins is the next Cardale?
December 1, 20178 yr You think Haskins is the next Cardale? As you know I have said for 4 years you all weren't winning anything with JT. I said that before you all even realized the reality of it. JT great guy, seems like a good leader, but not a good enough passer especially against good teams. His best attribute is his running. Which made his coordinators want to run the ball more with him instead of their talented backs. So I don't know if Haskins is better than JT. But just like Jones he may be better for the team. He has a better arm and can complete more passes in smaller windows imo. Plus even though he is a good runner, I don't think they will be as attempted to run him. So that means the running backs would get the ball more, much like when Jones as qb. Which would make osu a better team. I look at JT like I do Dalton. Good guys, do have talent. However for their current teams they may not be the best guy for their team and where those teams want to get to.
December 1, 20178 yr ^ This is all per Beanie Wells, OSU is still being coy and won’t confirm but I would love to see what Dwayne can do for an entire game, while at the same time I’m terrified it’s his first ever potential game.
December 2, 20178 yr Georgia looks in good position to beat Auburn. Does that help or hinder Alabama? Georgia would be in. Oklahoma will be in. The ACC champion will likely be in. If Ohio State were to knock off Wisconsin, would Alabama go over an Auburn team that beat them?
December 3, 20178 yr Georgia looks in good position to beat Auburn. Does that help or hinder Alabama? Georgia would be in. Oklahoma will be in. The ACC champion will likely be in. If Ohio State were to knock off Wisconsin, would Alabama go over an Auburn team that beat them? Would 1 loss Alabama go over a 3 loss team? Duh.
December 3, 20178 yr Georgia is going to win this game. But regardless of how the other two games play out I don't have a clue how the committee will rank these teams. I think Georgia might go back to number 1.
December 3, 20178 yr Author Georgia is going to win this game. But regardless of how the other two games play out I don't have a clue how the committee will rank these teams. I think Georgia might go back to number 1. No chance they go from 6 to 1. Even if Clemson loses.
