Lidle was the pilot of the plane...very sad.

They're saying he was in the process of buying the plane.

Now they are reporting that the plane may have been registered to ex-Red and current Yankee Cory Lidle.

 

:eek:. Now we can officially watch ESPN for coverage. This just stuns me.

This is just heart breaking.

He was almost definitely on the plane. His identification was found below the crash site.

MSNBC is confirming it was Lidle on the plane.

My personal opinion of CNN is that they ARE the cartoon network.

Word is it was his plane. There is no word if he was on it. Maybe the Yankees are doomed after the Red Sox beat them in seven a few years back.
