Taking fame and money out of the equation, which of these achievements would make you personally the most proud as a parent?

Can I add in Nobel Prize? That's my choice.

No, because everyone should pick that if it's on the list...I left it off on purpose :lol2:

Really? I don't think so.

I guess us scientists just can't play. :idunno:

No you can, my point is that the way I look at the Nobel Prize in either Science or the Peace Prize that it would trump everything else. Basically IMO including it, is unfair to the other options...:lol2:

I added it to the poll!

All of these are huge achievements, and a sign of high level success. All require an investment of time and hard work that took place over the course of most of your child’s life, that you likely came to be very involved in. I guess what I’m saying is, it would be impossible for me to say one particular achievement listed would be better or make me more proud. All would make me extremely proud.

I don't have kids yet, but I have to imagine that my son winning the Masters would be the proudest moment of my life. To me it's the greatest individual achievement in all of sports.

I hate to be a downer in this game, but I couldn't be more proud of my kids than I am now. They are happy, productive, kind and compassionate people. Unless they were guaranteed to still be all of those things, none of the rest are reasons to be proud of them.

Sooooo..."Other Option", right? :D

No kids, so I consider it a win if my dog poops on a puppy pad while I'm at work.

If he's always polite, works hard, and treats everyone fairly and with respect then I couldn't be prouder. He's six, but he's pretty good at all of those right now. :thumb:

With all that said, however...old dad would like to go to the British Open once. May kid doesn't even have to win! :lol2:

I have more than one kid so I will go.

Heisman

Grammy

Actor

Grammy

If they can just survive and be successful in this screwed up hateful country I will be proud.

Gold medal! Repping the country and beating the worlds best!

Was going to say something similar, productive and giving is good enough for me.

DLG volunteers at the Franciscan Daughters of Mary once or twice a week, depending on work and school schedule.

2.0 getting straight A's in her 1st year at UC, on top of working.

3.0.....she's a "work in progress". LOL

I'd consider any of the above options a bonus.
