Jon Gruden to Tennessee?

People in Knoxville are always WAY too optimistic about their chances to land a big name coach. The reality is Tennessee isn't nearly the job those in Knoxville believe it to be. You can't build a great recruiting class with in State talent and with Clemson and Georgia recruiting the hell out of that area you are fighting an uphill battle. Gruden isn't coming. Good luck to the coach who does land in Knoxville though, he's going to need it.

There are retired people who work harder than Jon Gruden does in his current job. He's got it made.

Not saying he has to work hard, but everything I have read is he is one of the hardest workers out there. When not on the road, he is in his office every morning by 4am and puts in 12 hours studying tape.

You are correct. Gruden does still work hard, but like you said he doesn't really have to.
