gchs_uk9
Is there any evidence at all to think this would be a good hire? Gruden hasn't coached in ages; he hasn't coached college in an even longer period.
JCVD
No way. How much is he making from MNF / his QB Camp show / and everything else? He likely has zero stress with what he is currently doing and making just as much money as if he were coaching.

And he doesn't have to try and convince high school kids to move to Knoxville, Tennessee.
jericho
NO WAY. He has a dream job and vacations. No vacations for college coaches.

GrantNKY
People in Knoxville are always WAY too optimistic about their chances to land a big name coach. The reality is Tennessee isn't nearly the job those in Knoxville believe it to be. You can't build a great recruiting class with in State talent and with Clemson and Georgia recruiting the hell out of that area you are fighting an uphill battle. Gruden isn't coming. Good luck to the coach who does land in Knoxville though, he's going to need it.

GrantNKY
Crazy move, he makes a ton of money to do very little. There are retired people who work harder than Jon Gruden does in his current job. He's got it made.
2-3-Zone
Im saying, no way too. I would be shocked if he would take that position if offered.

Not saying he has to work hard, but everything I have read is he is one of the hardest workers out there. When not on the road, he is in his office every morning by 4am and puts in 12 hours studying tape.
