Yuengling should win the championship. Hands down the best beer in the whole contest.

This is going to be a landslide.

Visited their brewery in Pottsville, PA back in summer 2010. Pretty cool experience.

Platinum belongs with the malt liquors based on the hangover alone. (The same case could be made against the Diesel.)

Yuengling by a landslide.

Yuengling is overrated

Boooooo!!!!

Boooooo!!!!

Sorry, but people act like it's the greatest beer ever. It's most certainly not that. It is better than most beers in this tournament. But most beers in this tournament aren't good beers.

Pretty much. When you’re talking $6 for a sixer, Yuengling brings something better to the table. That’s about where it ends.

If you're comparing it to craft beers then it's not really fair. Yeah there are better beers out there for sure, but for this category of beer Yuengling is at the top of the list in my mind.

I didn't know we had so many beer connoisseurs on BGP.

This one is unfair. Bud had no chance. :lol2:

At Tulane a couple of weeks ago, the USF fans cleaned out all of the Yuengling the stadium had by the first few minutes of the 3rd quarter.

The beer vendor said that was the first time they'd ever run out Yuengling. I told him to know his opponents. The brewery, where those tallboys he was was selling were brewed, is a block from the USF campus.

Yuengling. This matchup should be a curb stomping.

Yuengling is overrated but Platinum is horrendous.

It seems you are trying to put Yuengling in a class that it doesn't belong. When compared to the mass produced national labels (which is the beers in this tournament) it's at or near the top. If you want to compare it to the higher end craft type beers then your right.
